JAMMU, APRIL 11- Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Hemant Kumar Sharma
today chaired a meeting of officers to discuss arrangements for President of India, Ram Nath Kovind’s
visit to Jammu.
The President is scheduled to visit Jammu and
Kashmir on April 18 during
which he will attend the convocation of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University and
attend a function at Amar Mahal.
Threadbare discussions were held on various vital
issues related to security, traffic regulation, Health, hospitality and
protocol besides deployment of fire & emergency services.
Hemant Kumar took detailed stock of arrangements
being put in place by the government agencies at the venue of the function .
The Divisional Commissioner stressed upon the
officers to make sure that all necessary arrangements are made well in time for
the successful conduct of President’s visit. He further
stressed upon the need for close coordination among different agencies.

Rajeev Ranjan, Commissioner JMC Ramesh Kumar, Director Hospitality and Protocol

Gurjeet Singh, ADC Jammu Arun Manhas, CE M&RE Ashwani Gupta, Joint Director

attended the meeting.
