Jammu, Apr 27 : The National Flag was allegedly disrespected in this summer capital of the state, when it was found unfurled 'upside down' on Friday morning on a building of postal office here.
The Tricolour was seen unfurled "upside down" by many passers-by on the building of Chief Postmaster General, J&K Circle, Jammu.
The incident, however, sparked controversy and invited criticism on the social media.
"It was not intentional as the man on duty by mistake unfurled the National Flag 'upside down' on the building," said an official.
An explanation has been sought from the person on duty, before action, the official added.UNI
