Jammu : On 13th may, 2018 R.M Public School celebrated the 10th Birth Anniversary of Late Sh. Dev Dutt Mengi Ji founder Principal of Shiksha Niketan establishment. Sh. Dev Dutt Mengi Ji who retired as district education officer was known for his optimistic thinking and for his love for education. During the occasion sh. Raman Bhalla former MLA of Congress Party was the chief guest of the programme. Firstly Chairman of R.M Public School Sh. Rameshwar Mengi Ji have paid rich homage to the founder Principal Sh. Dev Dutt Mengi Ji by organizing Ramayan Path in the premises of Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School Jeevan Nagar. Then the student of all the three establishment that are Shiksha Niketan Jeevan Nagar, Gandhi Nagar and R.M public school have presented number of cultural programmes which were dedicated to Late sh. Dev Dutt Mengi Ji in the premises of Pushp Vatika (a unit of Shiksha Niketan Jeevan Nagar). During the occasion all the members of Mengi family were present there to pay tribute to Late Sh. Dev Dutt Mengii ji along with the head of the family Smt. Pushpa Mengi Ji wife of Late Sh. Dev Dutt Mengi Ji and Trustee of R.M Public School Smt. Rita Mengi Ji.
