MLA Mendhar chairs RKS meet

MENDHAR, MAY 31: Member Legislative Assembly, Javed Ahmed Rana, today directed Health authorities to ensure strict compliance to minimal standards for health care and prescribed protocols for treatment.

He also highlighted the importance of providing quality health care services to people through established health institutions.

  Rana was chairing the Governing Body meet of Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) of Sub District Hospital (SDH) Mendhar. The meeting was attended by SDM, Tanvir Khan, BMO, Dr Pervaiz Khan besides members of RKS.

The MLA stressed on organising outreach services and health camps in remote areas of Mendhar and making adequate provision of medicines, drinking water and cleanliness at the hospital.

The MLA reviewed the status of construction works of Health institutions and instructed the concerned executing agencies to expedite the speed of work.

He asked them to give priority to the quality while executing improvement/renovation works and instructed the Hospital management to fix priorities of repair, renovation and other construction works.

The MLA assured the hospital administration that he will leave no stone unturned to fully equip the Health institution with all modern facilities and upgraded infrastructure.

Meanwhile, taking serious note of absenteeism in Health institutions, the MLA asked the SDM to take action against Health officials for unauthorized absence from duty.

The MLA impressed upon the authorities to put in sincere and dedicated efforts to provide better Medicare facilities to the ailing.
