SAMBA, MAY 26: Minister for Health & Medical Education, Devindar
Kumar Manyal today inaugurated blood storage unit here at
District Hospital Samba.
The inauguration
of the new facility was marked by a blood donation camp organised by
health department.
Over 100
volunteers from across Samba district donated blood at the camp which was collected
by Dr Gurdeep Singh and his team.
Also present on
the occasion were Deputy Commissioner S Rajinder Singh Tara, SSP Anil Mangotra,
CMO Dr Rajinder and expert team headed by chief technician from
blood bank Gandhi Nagar Jammu and officers and staff of health department.

In his inaugural address, the Minister appreciated health
department for organizing blood donation camps across the state. The Minister
appealed the youth to voluntarily donate blood for saving the precious lives.
