Chennai, May 8: Tamil
Nadu Dr MGR Medical University (TNMGRMU), the second largest University of
Health Sciences in India, and Austlasian Centre for Health Service Management
(ACHSM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up South Asian Centre
for Health Service Management.
The MoU was signed in the
University campus on Monday in the presence of Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr S
Geethalakshmi, Registrar Dr T Balasubramanian, and ACHSM President Dr Neale
Fong.
Together the two institutions would establish South Asian Centre of Health Service Management in the TNMGRMU and encourage clinicians working as Health Service managers as well as hospital administrators across Tamil Nadu to achieve recognition as a Fellow in Health Service Management.
Improving leadership skills would pave way for healthy communities, a varsity release on Tuesday said. UNI
