MLA reviews progress of development works in Karnah

KUPWARA, JUNE 2: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Raja Manzoor today convened a meeting here at Mini Secretariat Tangdar to review the progress on various developmental works in Karnah sub-division.

Sub Divisional Magistrate Karnah Dr. Aliyas Ahmad informed the MLA about ongoing works executed by various departments including Education, PHE, PMGSY and R&B.

The meeting was told that Youth Services and Sports Department has released Rs.1 crore for land acquisition of Lountha Stadium and a DPR of  Rs 5 crore has been prepared and forwarded to the concerned department for approval.

The legislator was also informed about the works executed in cluster Model village Nachyan.

On the occasion, the MLA directed the PDD authorities to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the holy month of Ramadhan. He also impressed upon the officers to ensure the completion of all the development projects on time.
