Samoon chairs SLDPC of Revenue Deptt

SRINAGAR, JUNE 30: Financial Commissioner Revenue, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon, today chaired State Level Departmental Promotion Committee (SLDPC) meeting of Revenue Department during which promotion of 75 Girdawars was approved.

During the SLDPC, deliberations on the promotion of 195 fully qualified Girdawars was considered who are working as in-charge Naib Tehsildars since 2014 on the substantive basis as Naib Tehsildars.

The Departmental Promotion Committee of these officials was pending since last more than four years and was one of the demands of the All J&K Patwar Association.

The Committee also issued directions to update the records of those eligible Girdawars (I/c Naib Tehsildars) whose APRs and Vigilance Clearance have not been received yet and fix next date for SLDPC on July 9, 2018, in which promotion of remaining Girdawars will be considered for confirmation on substantive posts.
