Dir RDD inspects ongoing works at Kathua

KATHUA, JULY 07: Director Rural Development Jammu, Mohammad Mumtaz Ali today inspected various ongoing works here in block Hiranagar, Barnoti and Marheen.

Later he took a review meeting to take stock of the performance under various centrally sponsored schemes like MGNREGA, PMAY-G and SBM in the district.

The Director reviewed scheme wise progress of works and   exhorted upon the officers to work with zeal and come up to the expectations of poor people.

Various directions were issued by him with regard to the quality of ongoing works, their timeline completion and addressing the public grievance on priority. He also laid stress on completion of PMAY-G Houses without delay and according to norms with minimum disaster reduction using column structures.

He warned officers against poor performance and gave direction to complete all works in stipulated time.

The meeting was also attended by ACD Sukhpal Singh, XEN REW and all field officials, BDOs, AEE, etc.
