Mumbai, Jul 7: Groundnut oil and refined palmolein prices recovered modestly at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following fresh demand from stockists and retailers.
Elsewhere, castor seed bold and castor oil commercial gained further owing to good demand from soaps and shippers industries.
Linseed oil also surged due to rising demand from paint and allied industries.
In the edibles section, groundnut oil rebounded by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 830 from Friday's closing level of Rs 820 and refined palmolein edged up by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 701 as against Rs 698 yesterday.
Moving to the non-edibles segment, castor seed bold moved up by Rs 5 per 100 kg to Rs 4,315 as compared to Rs 4,310 and castor oil commercial inched up per 10 kg to Rs 893.
Linseed oil surged by Rs 20 per 10 kg to Rs 840 as against Rs 820. (PTI)
