Govt reconstitutes Establishment-cum-Selection Committee

SRINAGAR, JULY 04: The Government today reconstituted the Establishment-cum-Selection Committee.

According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, the Committee would be headed by Mr BVR Subrahmanyam, Chief Secretary, J&K.

The Members of the Committee include Mr Umang Narulla, Principal Secretary to the Governor, Mr Raj Kumar Goyal, Principal Secretary to the Government, Home Department, Mr Navin Kumar Choudhary, Principal Secretary to the Government, Finance Department, Mr Hilal Ahmad Parray, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department and Mr Abdul Majid Bhat, Secretary to the Government, Department of Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs.

The Secretary of the Administrative Department to which the case pertains shall be co-opted as a special invitee.

The terms of reference of the Establishment-cum-Selection Committee and the procedure to be adopted by it, while making the selection for the posts within its purview, shall remain the same as contained in Government Order No. 1488-GAD of 2011 dated 26.12.2011, the order said.
