Phagwara, Jul 10: A 43-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to death at nearby Thakarki village, police said today.
The deceased has been identified as Satinder Singh, they said.
Police said that Singh was mentally disturbed which led him to take the extreme step, police said.
Satnampura police handed over the body to his family after post-mortem.
A case under Section 174 Cr Pc was registered in this connection, police said. (PTI)
