JK Govt offices in New Delhi to function under PRC’s administrative control

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 02: To ensure accountability and greater coordination of the J&K Government offices in New Delhi, the Government today ordered that the officers/officials posted in various offices of J&K Government/PSUs at New Delhi shall henceforth be under the immediate administrative control of the Principal Resident Commissioner, J&K Government, New Delhi.

According to an order issued by the Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department, the heads/controlling officers of the J&K Govt offices located in New Delhi shall report their activities/progress to the Principal Resident Commissioner as well as their respective Administrative Departments.

The Principal Resident Commissioner shall hold periodic review of these offices and send reports to the concerned Administrative Department as well as GAD along with recommendations, it said adding that the heads/controlling officers as well as their subordinates shall not leave their headquarters without the prior approval1 permission of the Principal Resident Commissioner.
