KATHUA, AUGUST
28: A Lok Adalat was held in the premises of District Court
Complex, Kathua, under the Chairmanship of Chairman, District Legal Services
Authority Kathua, Sanjeev Gupta here today.
Two benches were
constituted to settle the cases in the Lok Adalat.
Bench number 01
comprised of Pr. District & Sessions Judge Kathua, Sanjeev Gupta and
Additional District & Sessions Judge Kathua, Sikander Azam Choudhary. Bench
number 2 comprised of Special Mobile Magistrate Kathua, Sunil Sangra and
District Mobile Magistrate Kathua, Munish Kumar Manhas.
In total five
cases, one MACT case and four 138 NI Act cases were settled and disposed off.
Settlement amount of Rs 9, 79,216 was passed in favour of the petitioners.
