Aadhaar enrolment centres
SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER
14: State Mission Director ICDS J&K Vir Ji Hangloo today
inaugurated the first Aadhaar enrolment centre, in Integrated Child Development
Scheme (ICDS) block, here.
The Directorate has
established Aadhaar enrolment centres in 141 ICDS blocks across the state. The
project is carried out in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Women and
Child Development Department and with the support of Unique Identification
Authority of India (UIDAI).
The process for
activation of Aadhaar Centres in other ICDS projects/blocks of the State is
underway and will be completed in a phased manner. The purpose of the work is
to facilitate people who are yet to enrol for Aadhaar to avail the facility of
various schemes, services and other benefits which is based on Aadhaar
Identity.
Accordingly, all
the residents who are yet to enrol for Aadhaar are requested to kindly visit
the nearest ICDS Project for Aadhaar enrolment and updation/correction.
