SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 28 – Department Of Information and Public Relations
(DIPR) today accorded a warm farewell to Chief Photo Officer B D Sharma during
a felicitation function held at Media Centre, here today.
Director Information Muneer-ul-Islam, Joint Director HQ Abdul Majid
Zargar, Joint Director Kashmir Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Administrative officer
Muhammad Munnawar Khawaja, other senior officers and staff of DIPR were present
on the occasion.
Director, Information and Public Relations Muneer-ul-Islam appreciated
the dedicated services rendered by the officer in the department. He wished him
healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
Chief Photo Officer B D Sharma had joined the department in 1980 as an
Assistant Cameraman and is retiring on September 30 after
rendering 37 years of his services to the department.
On the occasion, Director Information presented a memento to the
outgoing CPO B D Sharma as a token of love and affection.
