JAMMU, MARCH 02: A 4 member delegation of Janta Dal United led by its State Party President Sh. G.M. Shaheen, met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
The delegation apprised Governor about its concerns relating to the hardships being faced by people on all fronts due to militancy and cross borderfiring along the LoC and IB. They demanded construction of adequate number of bunkers for protecting the population living in the villages along the IB and LoC, providing appropriate arrangements for their evacuation in the case of need. They also demanded transparency in the existing selection procedures and speedy disposal of public grievances by the government offices.
Governor appreciated the concerns of the delegation and urged them to continue their initiatives to promote people’s welfare.



New Delhi, Jan 12: After four sitting Judges of the Supreme Court came out before the media to air their grievances on the administration in the Apex court, former Janata Dal (united) leader Sharad yadav on Friday said that not just the Judiciary but other pillars of Democracy were also in danger . 
'The judiciary was one of the most important pillars of Democracy. Not only this but other pillars are also in danger, 'Mr Yadav said in a statement here.
Senior-most Judge of the Supreme Court, Justice Jasti Chelameswar, along with three other apex court judges of the SC collegium, at a news conference here, slammed Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra over the administration in the Apex court. UNI


SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 6: A delegation of Janta Dal United led by its President, Sh. G.M. Shah, met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
The delegation apprised the Governor about its Party’s views relating to the ongoing legal challenge to Article 35 A of the Constitution and raised other issues relating to disappeared persons and the security threat to mainstream leaders.

Governor observed that the establishment and effective functioning of rural and urban self governing bodies at the grass roots level would go a long way in promoting the development and welfare of the people and urged all political parties to join hands to restore normalcy.
