Jammu, Aug 01: Shiksha Niketan Jeevan Nagar organized “English Calligraphy Competition” of Class 3rd in its School Premises. It is well said that Co- Curricular activities are part and parcel for an all round development of the individual. So, keeping this view in mind Shiksha Niketan conducts number of Co- Curricular activities at regular intervals of time. All students of each section of Class 3rd participated with full zeal and enthusiasm.
The participants brought “English 4 lines shuts”, pen, colours, sketch colours etc  for decorating the borders of the shuts. They decorated the shuts borders beautifully. Students wrote very neat and clean. This Competition helped a lot in bringing out the hidden talent of the students. They wrote in “an expressive, harmonious and skillful manner”  They enjoyed   themselves a lot in this Competition.
The judging criteria was based  on symmetry, speed and neatness. It was difficult for the judges to choose the best English Calligrapher among all the participants.
After hat, he judges gave the collective verdict announcing toppers as per their achievements  in that Competition as follows:-
The first position was bagged by Navleen Kour of 3rd F The Second position secured by Monali Sodhi of 3rd B and the third Position bagged by Yug Sagotra of Class 3rd G.
At last the Principal of the School Sh. Rameshwar Mengi ji” appreciated the efforts of all the participants. He also encouraged and motivated he others students o participate in Co- curricular activities in future for their over all personality development.


Jammu, July 12: R.M. Public School, Sainik Colony, Chowadhi (Jammu) organised an “Orientation Workshop” to orientate all the teachers of various faculties of Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar, Shiksha Niketan Senior School, Gandhi Nagar, Bharti Public School, Samba and R.M. Public School, Chowadhi in its premises on 11th and 12th of July, 2018.
The resource person- Mrs. Ira Sehgal (Pearson Publication) along with Mr. Vipen Gupta and Mr. Nishant Singh (Green Model High School) Distt. Doda delivered the impressive lecture on the Topic- “Self-Motivation” on 11th of July, 2018.


And the resource person -Mrs. Vineta Sareen along with Mr. Tarun Gupta Orientated the teachers on the Topic- “Self Awareness and Various Teaching Learning Skills” on 12th of July, 2018.
The teachers were really impressed and educationally motivated for their nobel profession of teaching-learning in a more successful way to do justice with their students from now onwards. This workshop (dated 12th July, 18) was sponsored by “The Oxford Publication”.
Mrs. Suman Lata and Ms. Arti Rajput and the Principal Mrs. Ravinder Kour and the Trustee Mam Mrs. Rita Mengi extended their full support and co-operation to make the “Orientation Workshop” an historic event in the history of the school.
In the last the Hon’ble Chairman- Mr. Rameshwar Mengi presented the bouquets to the dignified “Resource Persons” for their valuable services to this nobel task of Orientating the teachers by sparing their most precious time. His worthyself further thanked all these Resource Persons too. Mr. Mengi was impressed with all the participating teachers and asked them to do their level-best to impart the students with the light of fresh and latest techniques as per their freshly learnt techniques in this “Orientation Workshop”. His worthyself also encouraged them to be fully prepared to learn more and more through such workshop programmes being held in the school from time to time in future also to devote their bestself for this nobel task.
