KISHTWAR NOVEMBER 03: In connection with observance of Vigilance Awareness Week, a programme on the theme My Vision Corruption Free India was organized by District administration Kishtwar in collaboration with Vigilance Organization Jammu (VOJ).
     Deputy Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana, was the chief guest, while ADC Kishtwar Kishori Lal -the   District Vigilance Officer chaired the awareness programme.
          The programme was attended by senior government functionaries including departmental heads, Drawing Disbursing officers and Departmental Vigilance Officers (DVOs).
          Speaking on the occasion, the District Development Commissioner   stressed upon the need for collective efforts to eradicate the menace of corruption. He pitched for adopting zero tolerance policy against unfair and corrupt practices committed by any one irrespective of his or her status. We as responsible citizens have the ability to eliminate corruption from the society he added.
   During the programme, the participants were made aware about importance of Vigilance Awareness Week.
     ADC Kishwtar   stressed on the need for preventive vigilance and made the participants aware about the measures that can bring a change at all levels. He further stressed upon the district officers especially departmental vigilance officers to be proactive in curbing the menace of corruption in their respective departments and also spread a message in the society to cooperate with the government in the noble endeavor of ending corruption.

    Meanwhile, vigilance organisation  Jammu gave a Power Point presentation   on the theme My Vision Corruption Free India. The programme ended with a pledge of integrity to initiate the process of eradication of corruption.

DODA NOVEMBER 03: District administration Doda in collaboration with Vigilance organisation Jammu (VOJ) organises an awareness programme to mark   Vigilance Awareness Week. 
       District Development Commissioner   Bhawani Rakwal was the chief guest   and ADC Mohammad Hanief Malik -the District Vigilance officer chaired the awareness programme.
         SSP Mohammad Shabir, DySP Vigilance organisation Kartar Kotwal, Departmental Vigilance officer, besides others District Officers including DDOs of various departments attended the programme.
         Speaking on the occasion, the DDC   stressed on the need for collective efforts to eradicate the menace of corruption. He pitched for adopting zero tolerance policy against unfair and corrupt practices.  
          Earlier, Dy SP VOJ gave a power point presentation on the aim  and objectives of the vigilance awareness week.   He said that the organization investigates cases of corruption, fraud, misconduct and misuse of official position committed by any state government functionary. He also deliberated on the role of media, public and social organization in the eradication of corruption.
        In his address, the ADC made the participants aware about the importance of Vigilance Awareness week. He stressed that the officers entrusted with the   authority should restrain himself as well as his officials for indulging in unfair practices.

        He urged upon the participants to bring a positive change in the work culture and the mindset of people at grassroots level about the working of the government departments.
