Chennai, Aug 19 :  A day after marathon discussions with his supporters failed to arrive at a consensus, rebel AIADMK PTA leader and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam today said the talks on the merger of the two AIADMK factions were progressing smoothly and that a 'good decision' will be arrived at in a day or two. 'With a view to safeguard the party founded by MGR and J Jayalalithaa and to follow the path shown by them and as per the wishes of the people of the State and 1.5 crore AIADMK cadres, very soon, in one or two days, a good decision will be arrived at', Mr Panneerselvam said. 'You (the media) wait patiently and expect a good decision', he added.
