BANDIPORA, SEPTEMBER 27: In
connection with Swachta He Seva campaign Education Department Bandipora on
Wednesday organized a grand function at high school Shahgund in which
hundreds of students representing various high and middle schools of Tehsil
Sonawari participated.
The function was presided over by Deputy Chief Education Officer
Bandipora GM Lone while as ZEOs, Headmasters and other concerned were present
on the occasion. The students delivered speeches with regard to sanitation,
presented drama skits and participated in quiz competitions.
Earlier students from High School Hajin, Vijpara and Gund-Jahangir took
rallies to reach to the High school Shahgund during which they participated in
cleanliness drives and appealed people to maintain sanitation in their
surroundings.
Speaking on the occasion deputy CEO said that the present sanitation
campaign has become a people’s movement in which every person needs to play his
role.
