ANANTNAG,
JANUARY 23: Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Younis Malik. today chaired a
meeting of the officers to review final arrangements for the celebration of
National Voters Day and Republic Day.
It
was informed in the meeting that the main function of the Republic Day will be
held at GDC Khanabal while as the National Voters Day will be organised at Dak
Bungalow.
On
the occasion, the DC directed all the officers to ensure the presence of their
staff on the Republic Day at the main venue. The officers apprised him of the
arrangements being put in place for organizing the function successfully.
Besides,
the DC said that R-Day functions shall also be held at sub-Division and tehsil
headquarters.
While
reviewing the arrangements for the National Voters Day, the DC was apprised of
the arrangements made for celebration of the function.
The
DC informed that voter IDs will be distributed among the new voters on the
occasion.
The
meeting was attended by ADC, PO ICDS, Chief Education Officer, ACD, Dy CMO,
DSWO, BDOs and other officers.
