New Delhi, Jan 22: Supreme Court on Monday transferred two cases of the Bombay High Court to the apex court in connection with the Special CBI Judge BH Loya's alleged and mysterious death case. 
The apex court fixed the matter for further hearing to February 02. 
The SC three-judge bench, headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra and also comprising Justices AM Khanwilkar and DY Chandrachud, said, it would examine all the documents related to the death of CBI Special Judge BH Loya. 
In their PILs, Anitha Shenoy, Tehseen Poonawala and a journalist and Bandhuraj Sambhaji Lone had said that Judge Loya had allegedly died in a suspicious circumstance in December 2014 while hearing the case in which Amit Shah, then was an accused in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case. 
The apex court asked all the parties to file their respective documents relating to Judge Loya's death. 
Maharashtra Government on Monday told the apex court three-judge bench that a careful and prudent investigation was conducted after the media reports. Four judicial officers have assured there was no foul play. 
Judges recorded statements saying Loya died of cardiac arrest. UNI
