Mumbai, Feb 20: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday recovered by 98.15 points to 33,872.81 in opening trade, snapping a negative trend of last two sessions, as buying was
witnessed in FMCG, Finance, Industrials, Telecom and Utilities stocks.The Nifty of National Stocks Exchange (NSE) too moved up by 19.60 points to 10,398.00. 
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 33,960.95 and 33,753.50 respectvely.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,429.35 and 10,358.50 respectively. 
The sectoral indices like Telecom, Materials, Industrials, Telecom and Utilities stocks pushed the market up in early trade.
In scrips including TCS, Infosys, Bharti Airtel and HDFC gained while M & M, Maruti Suzuki, Sun Pharma and Relaince Industries eased in early trade.
The gainers were TCS by 1.38 pc to Rs 2965, Infosys by 1.18 pc to Rs 1143, Bharti Airtel by 1.12 pc to Rs 418.80 and HDFC by1.01 pc to Rs 1829.55.
The losers were M & M by 0.70 pc to Rs 722, Maruti Suzuki by 0.76 pc to Rs 8679.20, Sun Pharma by 0.56 pc to Rs 559.70 and Reliance Industries by 048 pc to Rs 921.40. UNI
