Manager NRLM, officials of RDD and other concerned besides women running
self-help groups (SHGs) and locals were present on the occasion.
Applauding the efforts of SHGs, the DC
said that they have become role models for others to emulate by establishing
their own units and business establishments. He also complimented officials of National
Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) for their active role and tireless efforts in
guiding the women to establish their own business ventures.
The DC said that women play a pivotal role in the
development of the society and their empowerment is a prerequisite for the
same.
