One way traffic on NHW-1A on April 29/30, May 6/7: IG Traffic

JAMMU, APRIL 26 – According to Inspector General of Police Traffic, Jagjit Kumar  to ensure hassle free movement of vehicles carrying Darbar move employees and important official records, only one-way movement of traffic viz. from Jammu towards Srinagar   shall be permitted on April 29th and 30th, 2017 on the NHW-1A .

“As such no movement of any sort of traffic including that of convoys of Army, BSF, CRPF, ITBP, CISF, SSB etc. shall be permitted on the NHW-1A from Srinagar towards Jammu on 29th and 30th April. 2017” a handout issued here today stated.

It further stated that the one-way movement of traffic viz. from Jammu towards Srinagar would also be in place on 6th and 7th May, 2017,  to ensure hassle free movement of vehicles carrying Darbar move employees. “No movement of any sort of traffic including that of convoys of Army, BSF, CRPF, ITBP, CISF, SSB etc. shall be permitted on the NHW-1A from Srinagar towards Jammu side on 6th and 7th May, 2017” the handout reads further.
