Police distributes sports items in Mattan schools

SRINAGAR, APRIL 27: According to the Commandant, JKAP III Battalion, Srinagar, the Police Department today distributed sports items to different schools of Mattan Zone in Anantnag district under its ‘Civic Action Programme’ to promote police-public friendly relations.

Chief Education Officer Anantnag was the chief guest on the occasion, while as senior police officers, Zonal Education Officer, Staff members of the concerned schools, students and other concerned were also present during the function.

“The programme was appreciated, welcomed and it was insisted that the Police Department should conduct more such programmes in future to make the police-public relation better,” a statement of the Police Department said.
