JAMMU, MAY 29 - A delegation from village Matto Tehsil Khour called on Vice
Chairman J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Kisans (SABDK), Daljit
Singh Chib, and apprised him of various issues concerning their area.
The delegation raised the issue of cleanining of Canal from Matto
towards Dhatyal and Bhopar. They told about the worst condition of the canal
from Matto towards Dhatyal and Bhopar posing serious problems to the farmers
in proper cultivation.
The Vice Chairman visited the banks of the canal from Matto towards
Dhatyal and Bhoper and asked the concerned to take up necessary action in this
regard at the earliest.
The VC assured the people that appropriate measures would
be taken up by the government to sort out their problems.
