LG’s green endeavor on its 20th Anniversary

Jammu  May 23, 2017: On occasion of LG Electronics India's 20th anniversary, we extends our commitment to the environment by launching a massive plantation drive in 42 cities in association with various NGO’S, Organizations, Government Associations , Schools & Colleges. All the employees along with the LG Officials and LG Customers planted 20,000+ trees across multiple cities and took the pledge to protect the environment and make eco-friendly choices to contribute to a greener world.   

There was 150 number of trees planted along with a tie up with social foresty department  in J&K  for activity. With this activity, LG once again reinforces the concept of life’s good by playing a positive role for cleaner and greener environment.  

Commenting on this initiative, Branch Manager LG & DFO Jammu. said. “LG has been working closely on the vision of energy conservation and has been taking proactive steps for the same. LG encourages optimum usage of natural resources and uses innovative and effective measures to meet the objectives of Sustainable Development and consumption and production processes. This tree-plantation drive is an initiative towards keeping the environment clean and green and ensuring that development is sustainable in nature. LG is already dedicated to this cause with a line of energy efficient products like ACs, Refrigerators, Water Purifiers etc., which is an important add-on to other environmental protection endeavors.”

This year, LG has completed its 20-year long journey in the country. Apart from delivering quality products to its consumers the company’s has been making conscious efforts at protecting the environment and saving our resources for future generations with this initiative.
