Gool-Arnas, Aijaz Ahmed Khan, today inaugurated BDO office at Thakrakote
besides laid foundation stone for Rs. 60 lakh medical aid center.
The MLA also conducted extensive tour of block Thakrakote and its
adjoining areas to take stock of ongoing development works besides assessing
availability of basic amenities there.
During the
tour, the MLA was accompanied by Block Development Officer Thakrakote,
engineers besides officers and officials of various other departments.
Aijaz Khan, while addressing a large gathering at
Thakrakote, was apprised of various problems being faced by the locals.
The major demands raised by the locals include smooth functioning of
various offices at Thakrakote, construction of Arnas-Kanota road via Thakrakote
and Mari-Dakhikote road via Matah, electrification of left out hamlets on
priority besides vaccination of live stock.
