Srinagar, May 30: Sh Parvez Dewan, former Union Tourism Secretary, called on Governor N. N. Vohra, at the Raj Bhavan here today.
During their meeting, the Governor and Sh. Dewan
discussed a range of issues relating to the promotion of well planned tourism
in Jammu and Kashmir which has vast potential for generating employment and
contributing to the economic development of the State.
The Governor urged Sh. Dewan to particularly advise the State Tourism
Department in regard to the application of aesthetic concepts and architectural
designs which are harmonious with the scenic beauty and natural environment of
the State.
