KISHTWAR,
MAY 09 : A joint team of officers from Transport Department and State Pollution
Control Board under the supervision of ARTO, Kishtwar, Abhay Indu Sharma and
Divisional Officer State Pollution Control Board, Kuldeep Bhan carried out
random checking of vehicles in the district and imposed a penalty of Rs. 6000
for violation of different traffic rules.
The team
appealed the people to extend their cooperation in combating pollutions in the
district besides asking for strict enforcement of traffic rules and norms.
