Cooperative Department Bandipora records business turnover of Rs 88.71 lakh

          BANDIPORA, JUNE 07: The Department of Cooperative Societies Bandipora recorded turnover of Rs. 88.71 during the last two months through its marketing Societies established at Hajin, Sumbal and Bandipora.

          The Department sold 4444 quintals of various kinds of fertilizers to the farmers of the district during the same period. Out of the total sold fertilizers, 2538 quintals of Urea, 1248 quintals DAP and 180 quintals of MOP were provided to the people. Consumer goods worth Rs 30.6 lakh was also sold to the people by the Department thus achieving Rs 88.71 lakh turnover during these months.

         As many as three cooperative marketing societies, one fair price medical shop, 10 primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Societies and four poultry Development Cooperative Societies are presently functional in the district.
