SRINAGAR, JUNE 14: Sh. Abdul Rashid Dar, former Chairman of Legislative Council, called on
Governor N. N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Governor urged Sh. Dar to continue sustained efforts for promoting a
peaceful environment which would be conducive for the development and welfare
of the people of Kashmir and particularly asked him to energise the civil
society in his area to promote the interests of students at all levels and
protect them from getting involved in non-academic activities.
