KISHTWAR, JUNE 15: Department of Horticulture Kishtwar has refuted the news report appearing in a section of press about the seizing of 40000 fruit plants of the department by a Vigilance Organisation team.

In a statement, the department has clarified that it has no connection with 40,000 fruit plants seized by vigilance organization Jammu at Berwar Kishtwar as reported in the media.

       “There is no employee namely Gulzar Ahmed Mir working in the establishment of Chief Horticulture Office Kishtwar as reported in the news. The department of Horticulture district Kishtwar has planted only 12743 numbers of fruit plants under all schemes during the year 2016-17” the department stated further.
