JAMMU JUNE 17: In order to ensure prompt service
delivery and redressal of public grievances district administration,
Jammu is organizing Grievances Redressal Camps at grass root level i.e. at Patwar Halqas in
the entire district
The camps
are being convened by concerned SDMs and ACR in their respective areas of
jurisdiction.
These camps will not only serve as a nodal point/forum for on spot
redressal of any grievances/complaints/dispute etc such as Issuance of PRCs/
Income Certificates/Mutations/Fards, Ration issues, MGNERGA, PMGAY, Shortage of
Drinking Water and unscheduled Power Cuts etc. projected by local populace but
also help in effective monitoring, initiating appropriate action for resolving
any bottlenecks or interdepartmental related issues which are hindering timely
execution of projects/works. These camps can also be used as, an effective
forum for spreading awareness about the various welfare schemes.
