SRINAGAR, JUNE 12: The enforcement squad headed by the Assistant Director, enforcement conducted market checking from June 03 to June 12, 2017 of various areas of Srinagar city which include Mehjoor Nagar, Chanapora, Lal Nagar, Baghi Mehtab, Gojwara, Nowshera, Buchwara, Batmaloo, Maharaja Bazaar, Wazir Bagh, Raj Bagh, Bemina, and other adjacent areas.
During the market checking, as many as 305 business establishments were inspected and a penal sum of Rs. 36850 was realized from 81 erring shopkeepers for violation of Essential Commodities Act 1995.
