REASI, June 28: A drive was launched by Tehsildar Pouni Rajesh Baru, SHO Pouni and engineers of Power Development Department to check power thefts and disconnected 58 illegal electric connections.
All the defaulters were asked to apply for the legal connections which would be provided to them after completing requisite formalities and documents under prescribed guidelines of the department.
It is pertinent to mention that after proper identification the feeders were allotted to the concerned officers and engineers of the department in the district on the directions of Deputy Chief Minister to streamline the power distribution system.
