Srinagar, July 08: National Lok
held today at District Consumer Protection Forum (DCPF) at Old Secretariat
under the chairperson District & Session Judge and President District
Consumer Protection Forum Jeema Bashir.
Total number of 160 claims
was taken up in the National Lok Adalat here today. Bench no. 02 presided over
by District & Session Judge 143 insurance claims were mutually settled
through reconciliation with Bajaj Allianz General insurance Company Limited. A
total compensation of Rs 1,10,83000 was awarded in favour of the complainants.
