GST awareness workshop organized at Samba

 SAMBA, JULY 25: A workshop on Goods and Service Taxes was organized for traders of Samba District by Commercial Taxes Department in collaboration with District Administration here today. The interactive programme was chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner Samba, Vivek Sharma.

The Commercial taxes officials presented a power point presentation highlighting key features of GST, Registration, Exemptions and other vital aspects. They informed that with the implementation of GST, operation and data related to goods and services shall be processed in a seamless manner. On the occasion, traders put forth their queries and sought clarifications from officials on variety of issues  like Input Tax credit,tax on pending stock items and contract taxes. 

 GM DIC Varinder Manyal,Commercial tax Deprtment officers Chander Parkash, Meenakshi Deepika Kumari Sharma, Kanchan Bala , Bhupinder Singh ,  were present at the workshop.
