SRINAGAR, JULY 14: Approving the State Government’s
proposal, received from the Chief Minister, Governor N. N. Vohra has, in
exercise of the powers conferred upon him under Section 53 of the Constitution
of Jammu and Kashmir, prorogued the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and
the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council.
