SRINAGAR, JULY 14: Divisional
Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, today convened a meeting for
installation of lights on Srinagar-Anantnag Highway.
Additional Commissioner Kashmir, Engineers of PDD, Project Director
National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), Representatives of RAMKY and other
concerned officers were present in the meeting.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir directed the PDD to identify the spots
on Srinagar-Anantnag highway where lights should be installed and also directed
the concerned agencies to start the work on this prestigious project within a
week so that commuters will not face any difficulty in future.
Khan further said that this highway should be installed with High mass
lights which would provide proper view to the drivers and at the same would
reduce accidents during night.
