RAJOURI, JULY 15: Under the overall supervision of District Administration, the vaccination of prospective pilgrims for Hajj-2017 was undertaken at District Hospital Rajouri and Primary Health Centres, Community Health Centres.
 A total of 117 out of selected 125 hajis turned out for vaccination. They were given vaccination for Meningitis, Seasonal Influenza and Pneumococcal diseases. The left out 8 hajis were asked to visit District Hospital Rajouri immediately for vaccination.
 The Medical Superintendent has been directed to ensure vaccination of these left out hajis. The vaccination was given at District Hospital Rajouri and PHCs/CHCs Kalakote, Manjakote, Kotranka, Darhal and Thana Mandi.

"As per health advisory from government of Saudi Arabia it is mandatory to vaccinate the pilgrims as a preventive measure against different health problems", the ADC said adding that the CMO and concerned BMOs were instructed to facilitate the vaccination.
