BANDIPORA, JULY 29: In order to review the arrangements for forth coming Independence Day,
the Deputy Commissioner Bandipora convened a meeting with the officers of
Education, Revenue, Information, PDD, PHE, Municipal Committee, Health, Sports,
transport and other departments here today.
During the meeting, the arrangements with regard to security,
barricading, seating, installation of PAS, tents, drinking water, electricity,
cleanliness, medicare, illumination, refreshment, prizes were discussed.
The meeting was informed that the main function will be held at
District Head Quarter Bandipora where it will start with Shahnai Wadan. The VIP
will hoist National Flag and take salute on the March pass. Th Cultural
programs will also be presented by the students of various schools for which
the Deputy Commissioner constituted a committee headed by ACR Bandipora to
scrutinize cultural programmes. Full dress rehearsal will be conducted on August 13,
2017.
The Deputy Commissioner on the occasion impressed upon the officers to
ensure that arrangements are put in place well in the time.
Among others, ADC Bandipora, CPO, ACR Bandipora and concerned officers
were present in the meeting.
