Arrangements for Urs of Baba Reshi (RA) reviewed

            ANANTNAG, JULY 17: A meeting under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, Shabir Ahmad Bhat was today held to review the arrangements for the celebration of Urs-i- Shareef Jenab Sheikh Hyder Baba Reshi (Reshi  Moul).

          The 5-day Urs would be observed from 23rd to 27th July 2016 which would be marked by night-long Shabkhwani.

                The ADC enjoined upon the officers of various departments to chalk out a common strategy by putting in place all the necessary arrangements for the devotees coming from various areas during the Urs.

Meanwhile, AD FCS&CA was directed to ensure the ration distribution in the Anantnag town by 23^rd of July.

          The Deputy Director Fire and Emergency was directed to deploy a fire service tender around the shrine during these days. Besides, the Chief Executive Officer, MC Anantnag was directed to ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness in and around the shrine.

            To ease out traffic congestion, the ARTO and DySP traffic were also directed to make the vicinity of the shrine as “No traffic zone”.
