Book exhibition cum seminar held at Kupwara

KUPWARA, JULY 15: Department of Libraries and Research organized book exhibition cum seminar at District Library on ‘National Mission Reading’.

          

On the occasion, ADC Kupwara, Principal GHSS Kupwara, President Cultural Trust Kupwara, Social Activist and students from the district participated in the seminar.

         
ADC Kupwara and other speakers gave thrust on the importance of book reading and library culture in our society. He highlighted the personality of Moulana Anwar Shah Kashmiri (RA) and said we should inculcate habit of book reading among our younger generation so that their mental horizon widens.   

          

During the seminar, the speakers requested various sections of the society especially the students to bridge the gap between libraries and the society.

          

They also urged the people to enroll themselves at different libraries to benefit from the huge collection of books which have been made available for the general public.

          

The librarian informed about the availability of NEET/JEE, IAS/KAS material in the library and also thanked all the intellectuals and participants.
