DC chairs revenue meeting at Pulwama

PULWAMA, JULY 15: The District Development Commissioner Pulwama today chaired a meeting of Revenue officers to take a detailed review of functioning of the Revenue Department in the district.

         

 The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, besides Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Girdawaris, and Patwaris of the district.

         

 The meeting was informed that the process of up gradation of land records, Jamabandi, Girdawari and land settlements is going on in a good pace.

The DDC also sought feedback from the revenue officials on various issues, including developmental activities, law and order, various welfare schemes, functioning of schools, power and water supplies in their respective areas.

During the review meeting the DC impressed upon the Revenue officers for maintaining the daily registers, Girdawari settlements and directed them to ensure removal of illegal encroachments. He also stressed upon the officers to speed up the pending progress of Jamabandi in the district and the same shall be completed without any excuse. He further asked the concerned officers to expedite the process of issuing transfer deeds and death certificates to the desired persons.
