DDC Pulwama reviews R&B Sector in Pulwama.

          PULWAMA, JULY 5: The Deputy Development Commissioner Pulwama, today chaired a meeting to review the progress of construction/up gradation works undertaken by the R&B department in the district.

          The meeting was attended by ADC, Joint Director Planning, Exn  

R & B, XEN PMGSY, various AEEs and other concerned officers of the district.

          DDC was apprised about the Physical and finical achievements made by the department under different schemes especially PMGSY, CRF and NABARD   through Power Point presentation. The DDC also took stock of various works undertaken by the R&B Department including construction of school buildings under RMSA scheme, completion of bridges,  macdamization, upgradtion and construction of the main and interior roads of the district. He was also provided latest status of the various roads undertaken by the department including, ,Meej -Pampora ,Chakoora-Malangpora, Rajpora-Gulshanabad ,Padgampora –Goripora , Pinglish-Rathsuna and other interior  roads of the district.

          DDC impressed upon the officers to maintain quality material in the macdamization of the roads and in the construction of bridges and buildings.  He assured the department that all the necessary support from district administration for resolving the bottlenecks which are hindering in execution of projects.

           DDC directed the concerned to complete all the ongoing developmental projects in a time-bound manner. He impressed upon the officers to work in coordination for timely completion of all pending works in the district. He also directed the executing agencies to speed up the tendering process for new projects.  

          The DDC directed the officers to closely monitor the pace of developmental works in their respective domains for their time bound completion and their subsequent benefits at the grass root level.
