SHOPIAN, JULY 17: The District Development Commissioner,
Shopian today conducted an extensive tour of Shopian town and Mughal road and
took stock of the pace of work on various developmental projects being executed
in the district.
The District Development Commissioner was accompanied by Assistant
Executive Engineer, Junior Engineer, Tehsildar Shopian and other senior
officers of concerned departments.
During the tour, the DDC visited Tourist Reception Centre Padpawan and
inspected the ongoing construction and directed the concerned engineers to
expedite the pace of ongoing work for its timely completion so that people are benefited at the earliest.
He was informed that construction work of Tourist Reception Centre
Padpawan is in full swing and will be completed by the end of August this year.
It was revealed that the said project will come up at an estimated cost
of Rs. 97.25 lakh.
