SHOPIAN, JULY 03: District Development
Commissioner, Shopian today inspected took
stock of maintenance works especially at the slide prone areas on the Mughal
Road from Shopian side.
The
DDC was informed that required men and machinery has been put in place for
slide clearance on the vital Road. The DDC was accompanied by Executive
Engineer Mughal Road Division Shopian.
He
directed the concerned officer to repair the damaged portion of road surface
found at any place within
two weeks to
ensure smooth flow of traffic. He further directed the Executive Engineer
Mughal Road to repair the drains wherever they have been breached besides
blacktopping and protection works be taken up at the earliest.
The
road was thrown open for traffic by April 23, 2017.
